Just played Alston moor golf club a hidden gem might only have 10 holes .but has a few challenging holes condition was excellent well worth the money you go around twice very picturess

A proper little gem of a course about an hour or so from Newcastle, some tricky sloping and uphill holes but 360⁰ picturesque views and a beautiful day too.

Very interesting golf course making the best use of the land, trees and streams. Might be short on yardage but do not be fooled because these yardages are over some undurlating ground. The par 5 8th hole seems to go on for ever. Really liked the 17th and 18th great and interesting finishing holes. Every hole here has something about it. Top tip study the map on the back of the score card before playing the hole. Real thinking players course thrash and bash will not get you round here in a goo...

Amazing views and brilliant golf course

Having been a Golf Professional for over 40 years I Have played some Amazing & Very Famous Golf courses, Myself & my wife turned up and played this Absolutely Wonderful little golf course With the Most Unbelievable Views, It’s everything you could ever want from Golf , Just Wonderful!! If you ever get chance play do it !! . Plus it’s £15 for the day !!!
