Alive And Singing Choir

I was warmly welcomed into the choir 4 years ago and it has given me so much joy and I have learned a lot in that time.Our director Barbara is very accomplished and we sing a wide variety of music. We have also been taught how to look after our voices and much more.During the pandemic Barbara has carried on by teaching us on zoom which has kept us connected. I have been a member of Alive and Singing from the start, I love to sing with such a warm and friendly group. Our choir leader Barbara takes our safety very seriously and we sang on zoom for most of lockdown, It is a joy to once again sing together with other members and know that our space is kept safe with the correct regulations in place. Thanks very much Barbara!

Alive and Singing is a fabulous, community, rock and pop choir of which I’ve been proud to be a member for the past 7 years. We are led by the talented and lovely Barbara, who has kept us going through the pandemic, both online and back in person, keeping us singing and safe. Great fun, great songs, great friends, just love love love my choir ❤️

After contacting Barbara about joining the choir not having sang in one before but always wanted to we told we can all sing and was encouraged to come along and see for myself. I did so a couple of weeks ago and was uplifted by the songs the friendly atmosphere the humour the choir received from Barbara I am looking forward to joining the group next term and so pleased I contacted Barbara and would encourage anybody wanting to join a choir to do the same

I have been a member of alive and singing choir for 12 years. If you want to sing your heart this is choir to join. Barbara is a great music leader and everybody in it is friendly almost family. Have regularly performed in public and I love it and everyone in it.
