Alexandra Walton Flute & Saxophone Tuition

I began having flute lessons with Alexandra in May 2022 after having none for nearly 30 years since school. By November 2022 I had booked my grade 3 examination and passed with a distinction. This would not have been possible without Alexandra's tutoring. I’ve had saxaphone lessons with Alexandra for a year, she has always been incredible helpful both inside and outside of lessons and has answered all my questions relating to the saxaphone and music theory as a whole. Can I first of all say how much I am enjoying my Saxophone lessons with Alexandra. She has such a pleasant personality, but also strong enough to let me know when I get things not quite right. I've been having lessons with Alexandra for the last 3 months and have learnt more over those few months than I have in the last 10 years. She has a relaxed and friendly style yet will continue to push you forward, giving you plenty to work on between lessons. She clearly has enthusiasm and ability for music and that comes through when she teaches. I recommend anyone that feels they have hit a wall with their music to book a lesson. Only wish I had this quality of instruction when I started out.

Alexandra is a great tutor. Very patient and methodical. I haven't had my saxaphone long but I feel like I have improved so much in such a short space of time. As a total beginner, there is a lot to understand, Alexandra is really good at explaining things in depth and in different ways to make sure I understand what I am trying to learn.
