  • Julie taught my daughter to ride several years ago and, now that she’s old enough to help out at the stables, she spends all weekend there and couldn’t be happier! Julie, Chey and their team of willing volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and caring - the yard and the ponies are looking better than ever. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to ride.

  • My 3 year old attended the weekend drop in session and loved it. The staff were really welcoming and very patient with her. She's now done a holiday activity and loves riding Dudley. Thank you Julie and Chey for explaining so much to her. We'll be back!

  • I've been taking my 11yr old son- (who has additional needs)to Aldersbrook Horses and Ponies for about 10 weeks. We go to the Sat/Sun drop in session and we have been so impressed. The staff are so friendly, patient and knowledgeable about how to manage their animals and the children riding them. My son has made week on week progress which has increased his confidence and self esteem. He has been treated so calmly and kindly by staff, he hasn't had an extra curricular activity up until now t...

  • My granddaughter, now nearly 14, has been spending all her spare time at the stables for several years. She began with riding lessons and has moved on to volunteering, loving every moment even mucking out! She adores the horses of course but the friendly welcoming staff have given her so much confidence and she has really developed her people skills which is great as she is a fairly reserved child. I have taken my two youngest grandchildren to visit as well, they were made welcome, the staff ...

  • My daughter spends most of her free time at Aldersbrook Horses and Ponies and in that time, Julie and Cheyenne have been amazing at teaching her how to care for and ride the Ponies that she has a share in. There are a lovely group of volunteers and it has such a welcome community feel. I’d highly recommend them if you are new to riding or have some experience as they can support people of all ages and experience. The horses and ponies are well cared for and loved.
