In Sanskrit, Akasha means "space", the very first element in creation. Akasha Dance Theatre was born from a love of creation. Akasha Dance Theatre is a UK-based dance organisation, offering bold, dynamic, unique dance work. We are inspired by a passion for creativity and expression. Our main focus is on creating dance and physical theatre for film and live performance, as well as offering movement and theatre skills workshops, and 1-2-1 guidance for dancers at all stages of their careers. Akasha Dance Theatre offers mentoring and creates nurturing spaces for all dancers.
