Fingerstyle Fantastic

Description

This course will take place every Tuesday or Friday (during the day) for a period of 3 months. 

In this course you will learn well known songs arranged for solo fingerstyle guitar. . . . You need never worry again ‘should I strum chords or pick out the melody’ as you will be able to effectively do both at the same time!!! Awesome!!

This course is designed for the intermediate guitarist (which covers just about most of us let’s be honest). So, to be more specific you will be familiar with most open position and barre chords and maybe even have a little experience of using thumb and fingers on your picking hand (though not essential as all will be explained). 

Fingerstyle can be a challenging style to play but ultimately really interesting and fun. I will go over in detail all picking patterns, techniques, chord shapes methodically breaking things down to help you understand and develop the fundamental skills required to really get to grips with the pieces and this style.

The beauty of this course is that you won’t just learn a set patterns or exercises to work on but everything will be applied in context to actual music and material specifically arranged for you to develop as your skills improve.
