Description
This course is aimed at people who deal with children on a daily basis (EG Parents, Grand Parents or siblings) as the CPR skill for instance between Infants, Children and Adults are different.
At the end of this course, you will receive certification which lasts for up to 24 Months from an internationally recognized Diver training Agency (PADI). Classes are taught to ILCOR standards. You will learn the following skills: -
Scene Assessment & Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Child CPR, Infant CPR, Serious Bleeding, Shock Management, Spinal Injuries – Choking Child, Choking Infant, Injury Assessment, Bandaging, Illness Assessment.
You will be taught as a lay person these skills and will receive a recognized certification showing that you completed the course.
Classes are small (max 4 students) to give you more time with your instructor. Classes are in a comfortable environment and will run for about 6 – 8 hours over 2 evenings or one weekend day.
An Optional Skill of AED On children over 1 may be added to the course as an additional bolt on extra.

Can I split courses over a few evenings
We are very flexible, and happy to run course at weekends or over a few weekday evenings. Prior arrangement should be made.
Do you run courses during weekdays
At the moment, this would need to be by prior arrangement and for multiple students. Contact us to discuss your requirements
When can I expect my learning materials
We post out your materials 2 weeks before the course, this should give you 7 - 10 days before the course date.
Can I get a refund
We will refund you fully 14 days in advance of the course start date.
After 14 days, then you can postpone the course up to 90 days after the original course date, but you need to give us at least 24 hours in advance. Refunds can not be given with in 14 days of the course.

We offer a range of courses for First Aid, Environmental Causes and Scuba Diving.
Our First Aid Courses (Emergency First Response) follow the latest guidelines from ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation). Courses are delivered with presentations, videos, skill demonstrations (where applicable) followed by skill practice by the student (where applicable). Some course will have home study in them also. Our First aid and Oxygen Administrator courses are a delivered in a structured way, building a foundation and build on the knowledge learned from previous modules.
At the end of the course* the student will get a certification card from one of the leading diver training agencies with over 50 years of teaching experience behind it. Don't be put off though most of our courses are designed for non-Divers as well.
