Soldering for Beginners: Build a Component Tester!

This one-evening course at the Belfast Tool Library will bring you from zero to being a competent solderer of electronic circuits. You will learn the best techniques to do through-hole soldering while assembling a component tester kit that you can take home and use on all your future electronics projects. Prof. Potter has been teaching maker classes since 2015, and soldering since he was six. He believes that Project-Based Learning is the best way to enjoy learning and remember what you learned. He honed his PBL skills as a professor of biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he taught and did research on brain-computer interfaces.
