Come and learn the art of knotting a dreamcatcher. 

Dreamcatchers have evolved through the ages as more and more people became aware of them and fell in love with them. One of the evolutions was through Macrame. Macrame may seem daunting at first, it is however very easy to learn and adds that lovely boho feel to any space.

This workshop will teach you the basics of knotting and decorating macrame dreamcatchers and give you some time to reflect on the coming year/connect with other macrame dreamcatcher lovers or just give you that needed self-care time, with the aim of creating gorgeous pieces with a respect for their initial intentions in mind.

You’ll be given a hoop, a large choice of yarns, beads and feathers if you do not want to make your own with which to complete the dreamcatcher and hands-on support and guidance to help you master the basics of the knotting techniques.

Beginner

No prior experience or training is needed, just a willingness to master the art of knotting.

I just love working with all sorts of crafts. Designing bespoke pieces for the home and I try to upcycle as much as possible to be kinder to our planet and produce beautiful handcrafted pieces.

I have been weaving Dreamcatchers for over 18yrs now and I have been teaching others how to make them for around 5yrs now. I have been Knotting dreamcatchers however for 1yr and feel the pull to teach others this craft.

I love walking in nature and seeing a rock, shells, and sticks and how they could be incorporated into a design. To be given new life.
