Kusum Modak Method, official Modak Institute Training Level 3 Diploma (coming soon)

The Modak Institute (MI) training comprises 80 hours classroom theoretical and practical, 4 hours online, and 12 hours assessment. (www.modakinstitute.org)

The training is essentially practical. You are going to spending 10 days learning by giving and receiving, observing and receiving the instructions everyday. It will ask you for mobility, and openness to allow the experience during the learning process to prepare your body to perform full sessions. The therapist posture yourself like practising yoga whiling performing a session.
The method was created by the Indian, Master Kusum Modak. In this training you will learn the 118 manoeuvres of the Method that is a unique combination of traditional Ayurveda massage and stretches inspired in the very well known Iyengar Yoga. This bodywork therapy acts on the tripod of Activation of Vital Energy, Breath and Blood Circulation. The work consists in deep touches from hands and feet. First the skin receive the oil then the Vekhand powder to warm up for the tractions and stretches.
Beyond a relaxing massage the Kusum Modak Method give focus to improve joints mobility, to bring spine alignment, release tensions, pain and all the related symptoms of stress. Looking after the emotional, energetic and physical body levels.

You will able to perform full sessions by the end of the training.
All the content is revised, you are going to see the subject at least twice.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

We have some complementary activities that will help you have a more in-depth view
of the Method and to develop a more accurate look at their services - in addition to being
mandatory for course completion, evaluation, approval and then issuance of the certificate of
conclusion:

The 4 hours online its about talks or PDF and respective assessment activities:- Anatomy- Demystifying the Kusum Modak Method- Holistic Medical Systems- SOAP and Health History form
To be approved and certified you need to have 100% attendance, to answer all the formative and summative assessments, provide 10 cases studies with a report of the 10 SOAPs forms, plus a video of the last session. You will receive all the instructions to help you to succeed, as well you will know the evaluation criteria. 
Once evaluated and approved, your certificate will be issued through the Modak Institute and
sent to your email.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA ( SVQ Level 4/5 equivalent) is in pending to be approved soon. The students will be submitted to do 3 online modules from ThinkTree UK Accreditation, total 150 hours to get the Level 3 Diploma. There will be retroactive certification if is necessary. Nothing will be charged on top for that.
