Landscape Painting Workshop - Big Skies

This exciting one-day workshop is set in the heart of the Peak National Park. My name is Pippa Pixley, I am a published author and artist. I will reveal how to master light within the landscape using various techniques.

We will start by understanding the fundamental principles of light and tone, experimenting with a range of mixed media materials, including how to make your own signature paint from pigment. I will show you how to translate and transcribe the landscape by slowing down and observing the landscape through sketching exercises.

You will discover how to apply contrast, colour theory, and tonal values to create beautiful skies that burst with light, dramatic seascapes and moody landscapes. 

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as anyone interested in creating beautiful landscapes. Everyone will complete this course feeling relaxed, refreshed and infused with creativity.
