• Each session is 45 minutes: 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM (UK Time)
• All sessions on Zoom
• Suitable for Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6 Students
• Suitable for both 11+ Grammar and Independent Schools

Reading Club Outline

Consistent 11+ Reading is vital to build an extensive vocabulary for all aspects of the 11+ English Exams. Excellent vocabulary is what ultimately brings 11+ English Exam Success and top results.

Most students do not read enough books due to a lack of motivation or exciting extracts to keep interest. This limits their creativity and exposure to various genres of texts. Most importantly, they are unable to grasp keywords and phrases to help answer 11+ Comprehension Questions, as well as use them in their 11+ Creative Writing. 11+ Grammar and Independent schools highlight that outstanding vocabulary is what ultimately distinguishes the top students in an exam.

Why is it important to join an 11+ Reading Club?

Mastering the English language can not be done overnight, it requires time, patience, and most importantly, consistency. The key to achieving 11+ English Exam Success is being well-versed with a plethora of extracts and maintaining your reading. 

Most parents say that encouraging their child to read is a challenging task. Perhaps your child is finding certain books too difficult to comprehend, or simply they find the television more interesting.

Our 11+ Experts focus on exposing your child to all genres of extracts, so they are well-prepared to face unseen texts in the 11+ English Exams. We ensure that our 11+ Reading List provides a motivating challenge to your child; our texts are 11+ Exam-style but at the same time fun and exciting to read.

With 11+ Reading club, we aim to deliver: 

• Guided reading two times a week
• An in-depth reading of various genres of literature
• Techniques for selecting key vocabulary from unseen texts
• Creating an extensive 11+ Vocabulary Bank
• Enhanced critical thinking and creative writing skills

This reading club is designed for students who are currently in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 and preparing for the 11+ Exams. Only few seats remaining, please book as soon as possible to guarantee a place.

We are taking extracts from various popular books. We are not going to focus on any single book. This to ensure that your child is exposed to various writing and reading styles from different genres.
