Such a beautiful course, the greens are immaculate and so well maintained. Interesting game when the winds gust, especially for a beginner like me! Staff in the proshop were really friendly, We were staying in Woolacombe and looked for a dog friendly golf course....after contacting Minehead they confirmed they were happy to welcome dogs as long as kept on their leads at all times and of course not on the greens. Will definitely be back to play when in the area again

Lovely course, club house staff very welcoming, as was the pro in the shop. Breakfast was lovely, as was the rushed late lunch the cook done us despite us getting in as kitchen was closing. Will be back over the boarder again for sure.

Had a lovely afternoon at Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club the other day. The course played well, presenting a really enjoyable challenge even in just a light breeze. I thought that the more inland-type holes sat nicely in amongst the links and there are plenty of classics to test even the most skilled golfers. Always a pleasure to return here for a game of golf, I’ve never seen it in poor condition, can be a tough game with winds changing club distances so much, great challenge and green that many clubs across the country would give their right arm for.

Excellent lunches provided by Clare Lynch, especially tasty when you can eat outside in the sun! Highly recommended - open to non members
