Little Lakes Golf Club

Course in poor condition. Disease on all greens apart from the 18th. Unable to determine fairway and rough. Tee boxes need grass cutting, after teeing up for driver grass at same height as ball. Worst experience was excessive leaves on numerous holes meaning lost balls on fairway!!

12 of us played the charity day in Sept, I have been playing golf for many years over many courses and never felt more welcome, great course, great condition and very demanding of proper golf shots would highly recommend.👍

Played today as part of a golf society. Arrived to a full English breakfast which was very good indeed. Staff very friendly and helpful. The golf course is pretty challenging and very well looked after. Came back to the clubhouse for a beer and then an absolutely cracking carvery. Couldn’t fault the place!

The worst course I have ever played. I last played here 10 years ago and it was quite pleasant, I remember it being a well maintained, nice short course that rewards good shots. Yesterday will be the last time I visit. It is now badly run and in desperate need of investment or even direction. Trying to get them to answer the phone for 3 days should have been an indicator of what was to come. Very nice tree lined course. The ground had dried up well following the very wet May we have had. Don't veer off the fairway though the rough was very long and quite clumpy so your ball settles right down. The greens were very good and quite fast. Mind you they hide them away on many holes inbetween trees and deep ditches - a recipe for lost balls as I found out more than once. The grass on the tees was very long for some reason my pink tees hardly appeared on some of them. You get a feeling ...
