About Literacy Action
Our mission is to build better futures for adults by teaching literacy, life, and work skills that empower them to reach their highest potential. Literacy Action is a pipeline to employment, better wages, technical colleges, and the university system. We offer free classes to all levels of adult (ages 16 and over) learners working toward a certain functionality goal or a specific credential, like passing the GED exam, ESL and Citizenship classes. Real world context, health, digital and financial literacy are components of every class.
