CAVA is a combined of assessment of occupational competence in the work environment, and the assessment of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding. Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) course is suitable for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding other than in the work environment (e.g. a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) is a RQF qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work/workplace environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This level 3 certificate is suitable for industry sectors such as Health Industry, Beauty Industry, NHS Trusts, various Police forces, Midwives, Librarians, Laboratory Technicians, HM Forces, Teaching Assistants, Higher Education Teaching Professional, Further Education Teaching Professionals, Secondary Education Teaching Professionals, Primary and Nursery Education Teaching Professionals, Special Needs Education Teaching Professionals, Security Industry, Teaching/Training, Educational Support Assistants, Education Advisers and School Inspectors, Veterinarians, Nurses, Care sector, First Aid sector, Care Instructor, Driving Instructors and Education. ENTRY REQUIREMENT:
There are no formal requirements for this course, however, candidates should be working in, or working towards a role in quality assurance. To undertake the full Award candidates are required to have access to two learners.

COURSE ASSESSMENT:
No closed book exam is required or there is no formal examination is required, however at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio assignment with other necessary documents.
