Instructional Design Course at QLS Level 5 Overview

This Instructional Design Course is designed for anyone in the teaching industry, who loves instructional designing, or is perhaps interested in designing and developing content for teaching and building more advanced skills. This online course will help you understand the history and evolution of instructional design, principles, and features of the design and development of instructional material. You will understand what makes an amazing training curriculum, how to identify your audience, and how to organise tasks and subtasks.

This course emphasises how to create a slideshow, evaluation quizzes, workbooks, handouts, in-class activities and other materials to facilitate an interesting teaching environment. You will learn the steps to design a curriculum structure and know curriculum teaching design and curriculum production.

Upon successful completion of this Instructional Design Course, you will be acquainted with the essential elements of instructional design, curriculum life cycle, and effective assessment tools, and learn how to create and design documents that are required to make the classroom activities more interesting and fruitful.

There are no academic entry requirements for this Instructional Design Course, and it is open to students of all academic backgrounds.

Assessment Method

This Instructional Design Course assesses learners through multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Upon successful completion of the modules, learners must answer MCQs to complete the assessment procedure. Through the MCQs, it is measured how much a learner could grasp from each section. In the assessment pass mark is 60%.
