About Institute of Massage and Sports Therapy - IMST
I come from a sporting background, having competed in sports such as gymnastics, dance and basketball from a young age and I am an all-Ireland champion in Volleyball. I qualified and worked in the fitness industry, before completing my training in Sports Massage and Physical Therapy, after which I opened and ran two very successful Physical Therapy and Sports Massage clinics in Limerick. I set up the IMST in 1998 after years of searching for and failing to find, a comprehensive course in Sports massage. Today, I still work as a senior tutor on all the courses and as the Institute Programme Director and course co-ordinator.
