Working with Groups (for Counsellors)

Description

This course is for counsellors who are looking to gain some knowledge and understanding to work with groups. If you have found yourself either running groups or being asked to run groups you will know how daunting this is. So this 3 day training aims to give you greater understanding of how groups work from a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic perspective. This will be underpinned with practice both through the use of case studies and on the final day within the group itself. 

Lorna Marchant who is running this course has been running groups for more than 25 years, she has studied group theory and written about groups during this time and believes that now, as more counsellors are being required to run groups this will be a timely addition to your CPD portfolio.

The fee of £120 is for 3 sessions, 7th, 14th and 28th September 2024
