The curriculum also includes a study of controlling plant pests and weed control methods, including both chemical and organic methods.

Level 5:

The Level 5 curriculum covers advanced topics in agricultural science. Students will learn about home gardening and the care of ornamental plants and cut flowers. Additionally, students will gain knowledge of permaculture techniques and aquaculture. The curriculum also includes a study of animal farming practices, including raising beef and dairy cattle.
