About Tze Ching 

Tze Ching has got many years experience in the sustainable fashion space. 

She started her sustainable Fashion Journey in 2007, when she launched a sustainable kids fashion brand, knowing nothing about fashion or sustainability but she knew she wanted to make a positive impact through her work. 

It has led her onto an exciting path of exploration and innovation, trying to solve one of our biggest issues within the fashion industry, namely textile waste!

She has over the years explored many solutions incl. zero waste design techniques, using remnants, introducing mending packs with her collections etc. but the realisation that “fashion can never become sustainable if we continue to consume the way that we do” led her to stop all production and instead focus on encouraging more people to consume less, look after their clothes better and mend more. 

She launched Refashion My Town, a social enterprise based in Chippenham, in 2019 to help engage with young people at schools, colleges and local community, to help inspire them to make a positive impact through fashion.

Refashion My Town’s shop on the high street quickly became the talk of town and a gathering place for creative young people, who needed a place where they could meet, shop and create together. 

She continues to tirelessly work within the sustainability space to make a positive impact through her work, whether it is business consulting, marketing or speaking. 

She believes that it is our true honour and privilege, as an entrepreneur, to make a positive impact through our work.
