Up against seven defending there was no way through until the second half when Horsham started to attack herne bay leaving gaps at the back leaving herne bay open to start scoring goals

Pull up to the car park along with another car. Car park gate is closed with "car park full" sign up which at first seems fair enough but then car park steward runs over ,opens gate and let's other car in but then slams it on me and waves me away. Clearly the parking system here is a fix.

I've been the coach driver for the away teams a few times and always been welcomed. Food is typical burgers, chips pies, tea, coffee etc, all good and fairly priced. Ground is being improved and staff are friendly. Ground is off a residential road.

Reasonably tidy ground with a new 3G pitch. At present the clubhouse is being renovated and so drinks are served from cans at various huts around the stadium. Pretty handy for Herne Bay station but a bit of a walk to the town centre and in particular the seafront.
