College Access - How to use Heat Engineer

This webinar will show teachers how to use their college account on Heat Engineer Software. https://www.heat-engineer.com

We will demonstrate how the software provides an excellent learning resource for the following courses:

•  Plumbing and heating NVQ Level 3 
  • Module 307
• T Level Technical Qualification for Building Services Engineering in Construction
• 8710-30 Building services engineering core content
• BPEC Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Foundation

Starting from how to setup a class with new learners and guiding them through a pre-made survey to complete a room by room heat loss report.

Teachers will become familiar with the software, aiding each learner access to their college dashboard as a designer, so they can complete a heat loss report and other heating design elements.

Furthermore each learner will have access to send surveys from the heat engineer app (Apple or Android) which once sent will be received within the college dashboard. Where teachers can assess the survey.

Scheme of works:

1. Create an account
2. Setup the classroom, inviting your learners
3. Copy the default template survey for each learner to use
4. Review which learners have setup their account correctly (as a surveyor and designer)
5. Assess our training information online for independent working.
6. Learn about our inclusive dashboard setup particularly good for dyslexic learners.
7. Instructing the classroom to start and send a simple heat loss survey within the mobile app.

9. Assessing learners work and their completed reports.
