Description

The course takes place at the Sustainable Home Centre in Poole. It is a mix of primarily classroom training and some hands-on time with the equipment. It runs for 1 day, starting at 0900 and finishing at 16:30.

It is suitable for electricians, plumbers, refrigeration engineers and heating engineers. 

There are no formal qualification requirements for attendance.

The course is suitable and useful for people both before or after completing a formal F-Gas qualification and new entrants into the world of Refrigerant spolit air to air heatpumps.

Completion of the course along with gaining an F-Gas formal qualification is a pre-requisite to then attend the H2ecO / Daikin installation practical course which allows new F-Gas installers to practice their new skills on a full installation at the Sustainable Home Cantre training centre before "going live" on an actual customers installation.

The £50 registration fee is refundable from your next purchase of equipment from the H2ecO Sustainable home Centre.

  • Is Parking available?

    Yes, there are some allocated parking spaces outside the Sustainable Home Centre or roadside parking within 100 meters.

  • Is there food provided during the course

    Yes, Daikin courses include morning and afternoon drinks and snacks and a lunch. For anyone with specific dietary requirements, please contact us at least a week before the course so we can make sure we can cater for you.

  • Do you have wifi on site?

    There is free wifi accessible to all attendees for the duration of the course. A code is provided on request.

  • When does the course start and finish?

    Unless stated otherwise in the course details, the training starts at 0900 and finishes at 16:30.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me?

    No. We will provide pens and paper. You will be given course notes electronically. There are no specific PPE requirements.

  • Is there a minimum number of attendees for the course to run?

    Yes, we require a minimum of 4 attendees. If that number is not reached by the week before the course, we will give you the option to transfer to the next available course or have a full refund.
