Course Duration:

This course is designed around the needs of organisation and individuals.  

Typically delivered over a 2 days - 4 weeks depending upon how many optional units are selected. 

Participants are encouraged to engage in self-directed study to complement their in-classroom learning.

Course Content:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will:

Units:

The mandatory unit is: "Delivering Inclusive Learning Sessions in Health and Social Care" and is delivered over 12 hours.

• infection control trainer
• dementia care trainer
• stoma care trainer
• catheter care trainer
• wound care trainer
• epilepsy care trainer
• clinical skills trainer (urinary catheterisation, venepuncture, nasogastric tube etc.)
• this list is not exhaustive, other optional units can be bolted on to meet the needs of the organisation and individual trainers. 

Assessment:

Assessment for this course includes a combination of written assignments, practical assessments, and a final project. Participants must successfully complete all assessments to achieve the Level 3 Endorsed Award in Delivering Health and Social Care Training.
