Description

Start your silver clay journey in the comfort of your own home at completely your own pace. Detailed clear demo videos show you the processes step by step so you can pause, skip or re-watch to your hearts content. The kit provided ensures that you'll not only have everything you need for the course but to be able to carry on afterwards too. This series of exercises is the equivalent of a full day course including making time and will enable you to feel confident enough in the process to keep making afterwards. All your materials and tools are included as well as all the video tutorials that you will need. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery of your kit.

Explore different techniques including rolling and cutting the clay, as well as making and using moulds. You will learn how to prepare the clay, fire and polish. With a wide range of jewellery options there's something for everyone. This lovely process allows you to be creative in an accessible way, so anyone can do it! Use treasures from your life as inspiration (or even to make your moulds) or just allow the process to guide you. Depending on your designs and your choice of size you will make 4-6 pieces of silver.

What you will need: A clean, safe place to work when using the provided blow torch on the provided heat mat. A small quantity of olive oil in a pot, pliers if you have them (but don't worry if not). Somewhere to dry the clay pieces before firing: a hot radiator, a hot plate, a dehumidifier or a dehydrator. A device with a large enough screen to view the tutorials and the ability to play sound.
