A fantastic days sailing with all the family - James was a wonderful Skipper who gave everyone a great time getting as involved as they wanted to on his magnificent 44 yacht - great stories shared on an amazing days’ experience - this was really proper thrilling sailing - fully recommended!

A fantastic weekend of sailing on a beautiful boat with a great skipper. We chartered the beautiful Swan 44 and were fortunate enough to have James himself as the skipper! This was my first time chartering a boat but in the lead-up to the weekend James was always a polite and efficient communicator, happy to answer any of the myriad of questions that I had. James was a star and a huge help. After being badly let down by another business, who cancelled on me at the last minute and left me high and dry, I called James from Freewinds to see if he could offer me a sailing trip. He couldn't offer me anything at the time, but he rung around his contacts and I got sorted with someone else. A very genuine business and he's gentleman.

Just a quick thanks to all at Freewinds Yacht charter for yet again another excellent trip. The Swan sailed like a dream as always and we had no issues from start to finish- almost unbelievable on a boat!! This is the third time we've chartered from FYC and we are already thinking of booking another for the end of the season. WE LOVE CORNWALL.

Beware that Cornish Cruising (now “Cornish Sailing” but still Nick Jordan!!!) has gone BUST! We were not informed of this until the last minute but thankfully James at Freewinds came to our rescue and we managed to use one of his Swans for our holiday. All was clean, tidy and extremely well laid out. We had an excellent skipper’s handover at the start, including very comprehensive notes.
