English as a foreign language

Richard, your course leader:
I have over 50 years experience in using the English language as a native speaker. I’m now looking to pass on some of my experience to help you learn the language and use it the way you need to use it for your work, rest, or play. So I am a qualified TEFL teacher, with a Certificate in English Language Training and I host language students at my home here in England who come for a holiday learning experience. For many years I worked in computing and business and my work took me around the world. I have spent a little time living in France, and more recently I was living in Germany, donc je peux parlais un petit peux de la francais, aber auch ein bissen Deutsch. That means I know what it’s like to learn a foreign language. It may help, you never know! In terms of my lessons with you, how these are structured really depends on your language level and what you want or need to learn. We can discuss this during our introductory session, and I can then put together a training plan so you can meet your objectives. I will use a combination of digital and printed resources to backup each session and focus on an aspect of the language you need. In each lesson I also plan to give you plenty of opportunity to practice and actually use the language you are learning. And I always plan to make my sessions fun…..
