EMDR Sussex is pleased to present a day of networking and workshops for local EMDR therapists.
Do come along to meet new people or to reconnect with colleagues. Lunch is provided and there will be several opportunities during the day for discussion and learning in small groups.

Presentations will include:
EMDR in a Renal Unit – working with complex and chronic ill health, by Angela Taylor and Maria Tribe. Looking at case studies and patient interviews from the Sussex Kidney Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Angela and Maria are part of a team of four EMDR therapists working in the Kidney Unit. Maria is an Accredited EMDR Practitioner.
EMDR and Aviation, by Dr Ruth Henderson: where EMDR can be an asset in aviation - the traumas, the vulnerabilities and who might need help with EMDR.
Ruth is a Chartered Counselling & Clinical Psychologist, and Accredited EMDR Practitioner, working in private practice in Copthorne, West Sussex. Also, Researcher and Data Coordinator at the Centre for Aviation Psychology (CAP), Member of the European Aviation and Aerospace Psychology (EAAP), and working towards accreditation, as an Aviation Psychologist. BPS registered Aviation Psychologist. Ruth is also a committee member for EMDR Sussex.
EMDR with the military and veterans: exploring the distinct organisational and cultural characteristics of these populations and how EMDR can be offered within this context, by Shelley Bradley-Scholey.
Shelley is an EMDR Consultant in private practice. She offers a unique perspective, having been embedded within the military culture, served on military operations and delivered EMDR in active conflict areas.
