Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Drilling Operations - Land Drilling - Lead Driller

Description

The Level 2 Diploma in Drilling Operations qualification has two specialisms/pathways of which Land Drilling -Lead Driller is one of them.

The Level 2 Diploma in Drilling Operations -Land Drilling -Lead Driller pathway has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner needs to be employed to undertake this pathway.This pathway enables the learner to demonstrate and recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate their competence in a real workplace environment so that they can work as a Lead Driller.

This pathway is specifically designed for those learners involved in the operation of a wide range of drilling equipment across a range of drilling environments. The pathway is accompanied by a set of Directives developed by the Awarding Organisation to provide more details and additional requirements to be included in some applications.

An Endorsement must be selected from the following table for the selected Pathway.

A Category may also be selected where a particular type of equipment was used. Categories are not relevant to all Pathways and must only be selected where relevant.

Multiple endorsements and/or categories are permitted but the specific aspects of each must be clearly demonstrated by repeatable performance and supported by evidence.
