Description

This online course will satisfy the supervision requirements in the Legal Aid Agency Standard Contract and specifically covers the key supervision and management skills needed to ensure compliance with the LAA Contract.

The course will also provide practical advice for putting in place effective outcome-focused supervision arrangements to meet your professional requirements in the SRA Standards & Regulations and meet the requirements for quality standards, including the Specialist Quality Mark and Lexcel.

The course is suitable for those stepping into a supervisory role for the first time or for other supervisors or managers who want to brush up on their supervisory and management skills.

Matt is a non-practising solicitor and was formerly Senior Legal Adviser and Head of Continuous Improvement at the Legal Services Commission. He has considerable experience in regulatory issues and advising on complex issues of compliance and ethics. He is also an expert in data protection, UK GDPR and on the civil legal aid scheme.
