At this workshop you will be introduced to two different types of resin, and many decorative techniques. Firstly, using epoxy resin, you will make a collection of four coasters. Each coaster will be made using a different technique with a choice of colours and additional optional sparkles.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">In the afternoon, you will then have the opportunity to use eco pour resin to make a handy sized tray, perfect for tidying the office desk or dressing table.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">By the end of your super creative day, you will have learned how to correctly use two different resins and will have been shown several ways to introduce patterns and colours - all skills that will hold you in good stead should you go on to make more resin items when you get home.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">This workshop is aimed at both complete beginners and those who have dabbled in resin and are keen to dabble some more! The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, and will include a pause for lunch. We have been pouring live edge epoxy pieces and using resin long enough that it is time to share all of the secrets we have learned (the hard way) with you.&nbsp;</span></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(60, 60, 60);">&nbsp;In this workshop, you will learn all about epoxy resin and how to use it with timber. Get creative and pour your very own unique live edge river pour.&nbsp;</span></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(60, 60, 60);">If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture, or even epoxy resin coatings, then this is the course for you.&nbsp;</span></p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(60, 60, 60);">We recommend you wear old clothes. 

Please be aware that Epoxy Resin takes about 7 days to fully dry and so you will not be able to leave with your piece on the day. Resin classes last approximately 2.5 hours.</span></p>

<p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;"><span id="isPasted" style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(60, 60, 60);">Join us to learn how to sand and finish epoxy resin to achieve a high quality result. Using your board from Intro 1, you will flatten, sand, polish and cut your board into two coasters. During this course you will use sanders, drum machinery, router tables and chop saws. You will have the opportunity to use Festool power tools and will learn the fundamentals of finishing epoxy resin no matter what you&#39;re making. 

NB, the course will cover a finish of 320g and will only cover the theory behind gloss finish resin work. 

If you want to start making your own resin projects such as river tables, live edge artwork, live edge furniture or epoxy resin coatings, then this is the perfect place to come and learn how to give your work the perfect finish!

An apron, tools and materials will all be provided, but we do recommend you wear old clothes.
