Passionate about all things floral and handcrafted  Since I can remember, I have always loved flowers. My earliest memories are of helping my  Grandmother in her potting shed with her African Violets. The most treasured are walking amongst her beautiful Rose Garden with it's heady scents and gorgeous blooms.  Those memories combine together with the privilege of being a daughter of a Artisan Jeweler.  I would often sit with my  Father in his  workshop and loved watching the process,  from start to finish.  From  drawing the design to  moulding the piece from the bare elements to creating  something truly beautiful with his hands.  From this,  I have developed the utmost respect for handmade articles and as such it is my  joy to create, teach and inspire Floristry, arts and crafts related pieces in a  relaxed and informal way  Everyone is welcome no matter the skill level from novice to advanced.   With a little direction and encouragement  each student is often very pleased and most certainly proud of their achievement🤩

Welcome to Yoga Soc! Our society is a big family of Yogis (of all abilities!!) practising yoga and mindfulness in a non-judgemental environment... and having a laugh while doing it! Every week, we hold yoga and mindfulness sessions free for our members and this year we will be offering both in-person and online classes (so there really is no excuse not to get involved!!). These sessions are super varied: one week we’re meditating in silence, the next we’re burning off our uni stress in a high-intensity class. We also organise regular socials, all of which are centred around mindfulness, well-being & relaxation. Keep an eye on our social media channels to find out more! LSESU's Yoga Society are committed to cultivating an inclusive environment where our members can de-stress and work on their yoga practice in a safe, open, and accessible way. With loads of fundraising, society collaborations, and campaigning planned, there’s no way you’ll miss us! We can’t wait for you to give it a go and join in.

Abbey College Manchester is an independent sixth form college situated on Cheapside in Manchester city centre. Most of our 220 students study A-Levels, GCSEs or one of our International Foundation Programme pathways. We also offer a unique alternative to A-Levels called the Combined Studies Programme which provides an alternative pathway to UK Universities for British Students. Another exciting and popular programme of study is the Academic Studies with Football or Basketball Training, which offers the students the opportunity to combine GCSE, A-Level or the International Foundation Programme study with their passion for sport. We strongly believe that the discipline of sport helps support academic study in the form of the 5 Rs; Routine, Rigour, Responsibility, Resilience and Reflection.
