Empower Mental Health First Aiders and Champions to maintain their skills with regular Refresher training. Just like physical first aid, we recommend that you refresh your skills every two to three years. (Certificate expires after 3 years). 3 Hours Description: This 3 hour course provides your first aiders with the opportunity to practice and update their practical skills, refresh theoretical knowledge and ensures that they are kept up to date with the latest first aid guidelines. Assessment and Certification Students are continuously assessed throughout the course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Certificates are issued on all first aid courses which includes the annual refresher course date. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. Our regulated First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) course is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid. All successful delegates from this course will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate that is valid for 3 years. All delegates from this course will also receive free access to our Annual Video Refresher Training each year, until requalification is due. Our 12 hour First Aid at Work Level 3 Requalifying Course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their full First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification when their certificate is due to expire. (A First Aider can renew their First Aid at Work qualification by attending our First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 course, if it’s within 1 month past the expiry date.) 1 Day Emergency First Aid Description: The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller or a low risk working environment. Attendees of this course will be qualified to legally administer First Aid to those aged 18 years of age and over. All successful delegates from this course will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate that is valid for 3 years. Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour) Description: This two-day paediatric first aid course focuses on emergency scenarios that face those looking after young children and infants, including day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children in the early years age group, childminders, parents and carers of children at home. Designed around the needs of all child carers, our paediatric first aid courses place emphasis on dealing with sick or injured children and babies.
