The Greek Immersion Course will take place twice in 2024. From&nbsp;April 30th to May 8th, we are celebrating Greek Easter in Greece! And&nbsp;August 6th to August 14th, Greek summer in Greece.

It is a 9-day program of Greek classes, cultural activities and of course Greek beach and sun that will immerse students into the Greek lifestyle and will make sure they leave Spetses feeling a lot more confident in everyday Greek conversation.

It consists of daily 3-hour Greek language classes with our School&rsquo;s qualified teachers and evening cultural activities that mean to bring students closer to the Greek lifestyle, way of living, civilization and of course provide them with the opportunity to use the Greek language in real-life situations.

Books and apps.&nbsp;Our material, created by our experienced teachers and academic advisors, has been designed to fit the needs of our learners. Digital material, folk songs, movies and short videos are used to create bespoke content for our students&rsquo; learning applications, provided by the school. We love our applications because they make Greek easy and even more appealing to our learners.

Small class size.&nbsp;Classes are small, with an average of 8-12 students per class, to give all participants enough space to speak and interact with the material, their classmates and their teacher.

Nicola Slee is a theologian, writer, poet and spiritual director. 
Nicola has wide-ranging experience of adult education and has a particular interest in feminist theology, practical theology and the role of poetry and the arts in Christian education and life. She has written numerous books and articles, exploring feminist theology, liturgy, spirituality, and much more.
She is Professorial Research Fellow at the Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education, Birmingham; Professor of Feminist Practical Theology (the Queen’s chair) at The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Visiting Professor at the University of Chester.

7 - Using lancets (finger collection)
We look at the correct use of lancets for POC testing and whole blood micro-collection.
8 - Using lancets (heel collection)
We look at the correct use of lancets for neonatal blood spot tests (Guthrie Test).
9 - Capillary collection
Using glass capillary tubes for micro-collection. Correct use and handling.
10 - Microtube collection
Correct use of BD Microtainers (and similar micro-collection bottles) - collection and handling.

This course is supported with downloadable resources and may include extra video segments to reinforce your practical training.
