CYA (College Year in Athens) is a non-profit educational institution that has been acting as a cultural and educational bridge between the U.S. and Greece for over half a century. We aim to help students become global citizens who understand and appreciate other cultures. Established in 1962, CYA was the first study abroad program in Greece for English-speaking undergraduates. She has a long term interest in promoting the link between yoga and mental health issues. Currently she sits on the Forensic Executive at the Royal College of Psychiatry in London. Liz Comerton – Founding member Liz is a relaxation, de-stressing and anger management consultant, who has taught on our training course for many years. ‘When we started the Yoga Fellowship, we tried to maintain links with the community and encouraged the spread of the benefits of yoga by our unique teacher training programmes which meet the needs of daily living. We brought many international teachers to teach and train us. This has given us a wide view of different aspects of yoga.
