Introduction: When you think about applying for a job, do not follow the traditional advice to apply for as many jobs as possible, instead, think about your experience, the future that you want as well as the career path that bests suits you. Bearing that in mind, only apply for jobs that will support you to achieve your career ambitions. In this video, you will get step by step guidance on how to approach your application, filling out each section in a way that makes you stand out. You will learn how to interpret the job description and the person specification for the purpose of your application. We look at the NHS application platforms for England and NHS Scotland. At the end of the video, you will be able to read two supporting information sections for two different job applications that led to the applicant being shortlisted for the interview. You will also be able to download a further guide that you can use as a template to secure the job you want. We want to make your job application an easy and smooth experience for you. We take away the need to apply for hundreds of jobs before you secure a role.
