This course is a comprehensive journey designed to deepen your connection to Reiki and provide you with an array of creative tools that will expand your energy channels and empower you to harness the profound healing energy of Reiki, whilst paving the way to practice professionally. Give each other a Reiki Treatment using the symbols Reiki Ethics and Values Developing a foundation for building a professional Reiki practice About your Teacher Reiki courses are taught by Reiki Master Teacher: Fionn Leitch, who will guide you through everything you need to know to be able to use Reiki confidently and begin applying it effectively in your life and relationships.  This course is designed to combine the spiritual and the practical. My style of teaching is personal and relaxed, with plenty of lightness and laugher. There will be plenty of time for questions, and time to get to know the other students. Why I teach a 2-day Course:  My original training in South Africa was over 12 weeks which covered Reiki 1 and 2 as well as acupressure and Qui Gong. It was through in-depth training, that I formed a richer understanding of energy and how it works. It gave me a deeper knowledge on the mind body connection as well as insight into myself and other people and situations in my life. I also believe the more practical experience you gain with like-minded people, set you up to be more confident as you begin your professional practice. Reiki can be life-transforming if you commit seriously to using what you learn. The more you connect with Reiki and the more skilled you become, the more amazed you will be at its powerful effects. Next Course Dates in Edinburgh: Dates: 16 and 17 November 2024 Times on both days: 9am - 5pm with an hour's break for lunch Course Includes: 2 Full days of tuition Comprehensive and informative manual Reiki II certificate, after completion of case studies Ongoing support and feedback on case studies submitted. Entry Requirements: Reiki Level 1. If you studied your Reiki Level 1 under a different Reiki Master, please send us a copy of your qualification once enrolled. It is advised that there is a gap of at least 2-3 months between Reiki i and Reiki II. Preparation will be the same for the level one in that alcohol should be avoided up to a week before and caffeine and nicotine at least a day before. Assessment Criteria As part of the Reiki Level II course, you will be required to submit case studies after the 2-day course. The details of how to complete your case studies be given during the course. Once these have been submitted, you will be qualified to Level II and receive your certificate. Our six week course starts each July and focuses on Men’s pattern drafting, block patterns, figurations, cutting, fitting, remarking and master patterns. Successful students will be awarded a certificate.

Duration 2 Days - To maintain the validity of your certificate, it's essential to uphold your CPD portfolio and ILS certification. Course Overview Embark on the journey of the QA Level 3 Award in the Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medication (RQF), a qualification tailored for prehospital care providers entrusted with the crucial task of safely administering and overseeing medication's effects. Throughout this course, candidates delve into the realm of life-saving medication, understanding its diverse types and potential side effects. They grasp the art of evaluating a patient's condition, mastering the skills to assess, monitor, and evaluate medication's impact post-administration. Graduates emerge equipped with a comprehensive understanding, fortified with the necessary skills and competencies to administer lifesaving medication confidently and competently within prehospital settings. Prerequisites Completion of the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or equivalent qualification. What's Covered: Exploration of legislation, guidelines, policies, and protocols Administration of lifesaving medication In-depth knowledge of lifesaving medication types, including their effects and potential side effects Pre- and post-administration physiological measurements Handling common adverse reactions Varied drug administration routes Accurate patient condition assessment for optimal medication selection Proficiency in safe and effective medication administration in prehospital scenarios Ongoing assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of medication effects While attainment of this qualification signifies mastery of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, it doesn't confer a 'license to practice.' The scope of practice remains subject to the policies of the medication-providing organization. Additionally, this qualification doesn't authorize learners to procure, store, or administer medication without clinical oversight. Entry Requirements Learners must: Be at least 18 years old at the training's onset Be employed by a CQC registered organization or its overseas equivalent Successfully complete the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF) or a recognized equivalent While no formal prerequisites exist, learners benefit from a minimum literacy and numeracy level of Level 3 or its equivalent to fully engage in the learning process. *Prices are not inclusive of VAT Course Information Venue: All our 'Open' courses are delivered from our dedicated training venue: Pulse South Coast Ltd, Bentley Wildfowl, Harveys Lane, Ringmer, BN8 5AF On occasion we may use a separate venue, this will be advised on the course booking. Facilities: On your course you will be provided with tea & coffee making facilities and biscuits. We are in a rural location so we recommend brining lunch with you on the day. There is a microwave & fridge on site for your use. There is a garage that is approximately a 10 minute drive from our venue. Parking: We have a dedicated car park that is approximately a 300m walk to the training venue. There is no additional cost to use this parking. What is required from you: All courses are delivered in English, you must have a basic understanding of the English language to attend. There is a requirement for you to show that you are capable of performing the skills you are taught on the course, due to this you will need to be physically able to demonstrate all practical elements of the course. Dress: As a company we pride ourselves on running immersive & practical training courses. You will often be expected to kneel & work outdoors, please dress appropriately. Identification: As we deliver Ofqual accredited courses, there is a requirement for you to show a form of ID on the first day of the course. This could be; a driving license, passport or something that clearly shows who you are. Timings: All of our courses have a minimum training time of six hours a day, we will often advertise a course as seven hours to include break times. On occasion it is required to go over the scheduled times, however this will always be discussed with the group on the day. Trainer: During your course you will have a designated trainer for the duration. They are there not only to assess for the qualification, but to offer you guidance and support throughout.
