The foundation of Octavia’s rest work is Black Church (rooted in the South USA), restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, and meditation. Her deepest offerings lead driven, ambitious, visionary, and highly impactful women to awaken the fullness of their wisdom, power, and clarity through rest. Octavia has over 20 years of experience and well over 10,000 hours of designing and delivering classes, restshops, workshops, immersions, and trainings that transform, heal, and restore individuals and organizations. In 2021 Yoga Journal magazine recognized Octavia as one of fifteen experienced yoga professionals who have elevated and changed the field on a global scale. Ingrid Lacey founded Face to Face in 1987 and brings over twenty years of experience in coaching communication skills. She was one of the first actresses to bring actor based training to the corporate world. Over the years she has worked with individuals and groups throughout the private and public sector at all levels. Together with Sally Edwards she is co-creator of the method Face to Face use in their workshops. Ingrid graduated from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked as an actress in TV, film and theatre. She is best known from the award winning TV comedy Drop The Dead Donkey. She has worked for The Royal Court Theatre and the West End. Ingrid is a regular voice over artist. Sally Edwards Sally Edwards has been coaching in communication skills with Face to Face for over five years where she has put her considerable experience as a performer to excellent use in designing and delivering dynamic and creative workshops. Previously, she worked as a training consultant with other actor based companies and as an independent voice coach. Sally graduated from The Central School of Speech & Drama as a qualified Teacher and Voice Specialist. She has worked for many years as an actress in theatre, television and film. She has worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal National Theatre amongst many others. She was a regular in London Bridge on ITV.

Keith is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), who believes in delivering driver training specific to your learning style and particular needs. He has a Masters degree in Psychotherapy and previously worked in the NHS. He has vast experience of working with people experiencing anxiety and road traffic trauma and has developed specific techniques to help people build confidence and manage those driving test nerves on the lead up to that all important "test". He is patient and understanding and will work in partnership with you to reach your true potential as a driver. Learning to drive can be a stressful experience and Keith has specific skills, using techniques to help to help you manage this stress. He has also developed techniques to enhance learning. The first, using acoustic encoding to help you remember aspects of driving and secondly using using video to aid semantic memory, which helps you understand and give meaning to the skill you are developing. He has excellent communication skills and teaches you in a way that helps you to reflect on the skills you are learning and develop these skills progressively each lesson. Keith believes in offering value for money and you will know exactly what you are are focussing on each lesson and when you are ready for your test you will feel fully prepared. He even has an approach to cope with those test centre nerves! When Keith is not out in the car he enjoys trail and hill walking.

ABOUT OUR TEACHINGS There is one very powerful way to demystify any assumptions or preconcepts you might have about Kundalini Yoga: come and try it!  Everybody is welcome to our classes whether you are intrigued by kundalini, just started your journey or already familiar with it.  The practice is open to all levels and we aim to create the space for an authentic body and mind experience.  We practice dynamic sequences of exercises called kriyas, which are not complicated postures that take years to master, actually the opposite.  Most of the asanas are simple movements structured in sequences, with breathing technique and mudras –hands gestures. A meditation and mantras or music, or both are always part of the experience.   One single class might already leave you with a subtle sensation of wellbeing beyond the physical usual relaxation of any workout, as if you are slightly floaty and at peace in yourself.
