Speech & Language Therapy course provides in-depth knowledge on speech and language disorders, their causes and symptoms, and the therapeutic interventions and processes that can help

Understanding trauma-informed practices and becoming a better, more compassionate leader, coach, manager and individual.

Autism course aims to provide learners with a better understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and how it impacts the individual, along with effective strategies for supporting individuals with ASD.

The next Lancs CPAN Site Visit will be taking place on the 11th December 2023 from 10.00am – 12.30pm at County Hall, Preston. We will be joined in person at this event by Dr Sakthi Karunanithi of the Lancashire Public Health team who will be sharing with us an overview of the current Public Health challenges and the work being prioritised to bring partners together to develop local approaches. We are also able to share the work of Ben Fatimilehin, the NW Physical Activity Social Prescribing lead for Sport England, who will be able to share his research with social prescribers and also the work he is supporting around the work to “Pivot to Wellness” working with Local Authority Leisure providers. We hope to be able to add to this input with colleagues from TaAF. This event will comprise of a 2 hour meeting, followed by a 30 minute networking lunch.
