blessed sacrament catholic primary school

Dear visitor to our website, Firstly, thank you for making the time to visit what I hope you think is a fabulously informative website. We are a fully inclusive 4 form entry Catholic Primary School that serves the north Liverpool community for children from aged 2 to Year 6. Blessed Sacrament is at the heart of our local Catholic community where together, rooted in faith and Christ’s inspiration, we tirelessly support all children and their families to be inspired to achieve their very best. Our school holds the awards for the Inclusion Charter Mark and Basic Skills Quality Mark with 'exceptionally high standards with exemplary evidence'. We are also accredited with the Early Years Quality Mark, International School Award, Global Learning Programme, Healthy Schools Award and we are a Spanish Centre of Excellence (and we hold many more!). Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School already has a very strong identity and reputation for motivating and inspiring all children in our care, shaped around their individual needs and uniqueness. If you are looking at our website as a future parent, please do not hesitate to make an appointment to come in and meet me and my staff team. We will happily show you around the school as we are extremely proud of our school as well as each and every one of our children. Enjoy watching 5 wonderful Liverpool TV episodes as well as our new promotional video (all recorded in 2019). They are a great insight into life at Blessed Sacrament, evidencing how our full and rich curriculum inspires our children to achieve. For more information about our school from me, click the 'About Us' tab, then 'Headteacher's Welcome'. Yours sincerely, Mr Davey, Headteacher.

Troed y Rhiw Organics

troed y rhiw organics

Troed y Rhiw is a 23 acre mixed organic farm situated in Ceredigion’s coastal belt, less than two miles from the sea. Established in 2008, it is owned and run by Nathan Richards and Alicia Miller. The farm’s ethos is built around a belief in the necessity of farming sustainably in the 21st century. This means a whole farm holistic approach to food production which starts with the microbial worlds within our soil and encompasses everything from habitat protection and creation, to the role that the farm has within the local community. Along with horticulture production, we also have a small herd of Highland cattle which contribute to the farm’s fertility and provide meat for the family and our customers. We focus on local food, serving our immediate community through a box scheme delivered within thirty miles of the farm, local producer’s markets, and retail outlets such as restaurants and green grocers. Staying local means our food is fresh, mostly picked and sold on the same day, and fresh food is the key to good cooking. The farm supports a range of wildlife. Pipistrelle and Brown Long-eared bats roost in the specially designed bat loft in the roof of our stone dairies. Rabbits, badgers and foxes all live in and around the farm. There is a wide range of bird life living on the farm including Jays, Nuthatches, Blue Tits, Wagtails and other garden birds as well as birds of prey, from Barn Owls and Red Kites to Buzzards which hunt in the surrounding countryside. A Heron regularly visits our pond during the summer months. The farm hosts a colony of bees kept in fourteen hives. A wide variety of butterflies and moths flourish on the farm encouraged by the farm’s diverse habitat and because we don’t use any pesticides.

If you want to get stronger, more flexible, learn some cool new tricks and become part of an amazing gymnastics community, then you've come to the right place. Jaybee was established 18 years ago by Julie Ewenson who had always had an interest in gymnastics. With her 2 daughters training at elite level Julie decided to begin to build a club and a gym family for recreational gymnasts. Her aim was to get more children involved in fun gymnastics. She began in a small hall with 3 classes a week,. 18 years later Jaybee are one of the most successful clubs in the area with an incredibly strong elite team, 10 floor and vault squads, 4 pre-school classes and almost 20 recreational sessions throughout the week. We offer before and after school clubs to many of the schools within the borough of Havering which have been going for well over 20 years! At Jaybee we offer 1 hour recreational classes throughout the week and over the weekend where gymnasts are able to learn skills on apparatus such as floor, vault, bars, beam and trampette. We are also lucky enough to have an air track at both venues where all of our gymnasts get to bounce and learn to tumble. Our gymnasts are invited to take part in our annual in-house competition which is always fun, friendly, well organised and encourages light hearted competition. At Jaybee we pride ourselves on a friendly and fun environment for our gymnasts. If you would like to begin your gymnastics journey then feel free to get in touch and we can assist you in finding the perfect class for you.
