A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence. Week 12 will be a TKD grading and celebration event for the students. If you are interested in having the Second Chance Team in your school or organisation please get in touch with David High at

TFS leads the way on customer satisfaction, reliability and creativity and has demonstrated a significant return on investment to our clients since incorporation in 1997. Supporting organisations to minimise corporate threats engages with three key aspects: Education, Legal certainty and added value. Education: TFS operates up to and including level 8, the highest level of the educational spectrum. The domestic regulated UK security sector, for example, is positioned at level 2. Legal certainty: TFS has its own dedicated team of LLB (Hons) practitioners and therefore provides complete peace of mind to customers. Not all providers can claim this guarantee. For example, The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 provides the framework for legal compliance in terms of personal safety training. The findings in R v Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings (CGH). 2011 EWCA Crim 1337 amplify the requirement to integrate reliable industry practice. TFS exceeds these standards with the inclusion of the nonintrusive body mechanics approach. Other providers fall significantly short of this benchmark and can leave clients vulnerable to litigation. Equally Investigative procedures should be ethical, fair and reliable. TFS maintains the gold standard of The Home Office Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) codes of practice and the TFS interview model has been adopted by Hertfordshire Constabulary. Not all providers can demonstrate this approach and compliance to domestic law. Added value: TFS provides training and consultancy to a broad range of corporate and governmental clients both within the UK and overseas. Examples of ROI’s have engaged with an 80% reduction in assaults on staff (leading UK supermarket) and interventions that have driven improvements in shrinkage figures that contributed to a year-on-year saving of £2M (FTSE 100 client). TFS continues to meet the rigorous RSQS accreditation: The RSQS accreditation mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in retail industry and indicates that you have gone through the process and have demonstrated your commitment and credentials to the industry.

Premium Driving School

When new drivers are improperly instructed on the fundamentals of driving, and the “rules of the road” it negatively affects everyone’s safety on Missouri roadways. Unfortunately, schools have been eliminating driver education from their curriculum nationwide; including schools in Springfield. In September, 2019, Mercy Hospital phased out their driving education program costing Southwest Missourian’s their most trusted driver training program. A lack of community resources means parents are forced to shoulder the responsibility of driver training. Parents understand introducing their teenager to driving can be a unique challenge. Scheduling time for Parent/Teen driving instruction is difficult and lessons often create stress, conflict and tensions in the family unit. We’re convinced there is a better way to develop better drivers. In September, 2019, Todd Vermillion, a retired Sergeant and Dan Bracker, a retired Lieutenant both from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Partnered and opened Premier Driving Academy. With over 50 years of combined law enforcement experience, they recognize the inherent risks involved in operating motor vehicles, particularly for young, inexperienced drivers. They collaborated with industry leaders and administrators and developed a proven curriculum that makes their student drivers the perfect candidates for success. Premier’s teen driving program includes six, one hour, in-car driving lessons. Every lesson is tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student driver. The curriculum is based on a four step lesson plan; instructor explains, as student performs the task, instructor checks for understanding, student explains, then evaluated. The student will succeed in driving with repetition and practice. The goal at Premier is to develop skilled drivers for a lifetime. Dan Bracker, Lieutenant, retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2018, with more than 26 years of service. During his 10 year tenure as Public Information Officer, Dan presented driver education classes at numerous southwest Missouri high schools. He has presented highway safety and personal safety education programs to many civic, and private industry groups. Most importantly, he passionately instructed both daughters to drive. Todd Vermillion, Sergeant, retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2021, with more than 25 years of service. Todd was a Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) specialist instructor in the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (E.V.O.C.) for over 11 years; training law enforcement officers in the safe operation of police vehicles during high stress, high speed maneuvers while providing in-car instruction. He also taught his three children to drive safely for life.
