Our Academy consists of an exceptional cluster of primary and secondary schools at the heart of our local community, based in the Maidstone and Malling area of Kent. VIAT was legally established as a Multi Academy Trust on 10 March, 2011. VIAT believes in the benefits of cross-phase education whereby all pupils, regardless of background, are taught a broad curriculum by specialist teachers across all ages; thereby enabling them to master the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their full educational and personal potential. She has also worked as an online Sex and Relationship Expert on the Pfizer sponsored ‘ManMOT’ website, and currently works as an online Consultant to Relate. As a Therapist and Supervisor, Stephanie works with Relate (The UK’s largest provider of relationship therapy), for the NHS for 15 years, and also in Private Practice. Stephanie is also an experienced EMDR Therapist, specializing in using EMDR to work with trauma and addiction. Anna Palin-Swift MSc BSc (dual hons) PGDip Relationship Therapy Dip Sex Addiction Course Director – Working with Couples Course Tutor -Diploma in Sex Addiction After graduating from Keele University with a dual honours degree in Psychology and English , Anna moved to the University of Chester where she gained an MSc, researching into the reasons why young people may not access therapy and whether online counselling presents less of a barrier to this age group. She has a particular enthusiasm for working with young people and for online services. Anna is a member of the British Psychological Society. She is currently working with couple relationships in Private Practice and online for Relate. Anna also works in private practice,working with Couples and Individuals and has a special interest and expertise in working with sex and porn addiction.

Welcome to our website; we hope that you find it useful. Redborne is a very successful, oversubscribed Upper School of over 1,600 students, 450 of whom are in the Sixth Form. Over 80% of our Sixth Form go onto university and 14 have gone to Oxbridge in the last 3 years. We have been designated a National Support School by the Department of Education. We were graded "good" in our Ofsted inspection in November 2017, with many positive comments being made by the inspection team. In April, 2011 we were granted Academy Status by the government and as such we are now an independent but state funded school.
