We’ve been working hard to get our ‘Open Sourcing’ Farmer Radio initiative out there! Basically, this means that some of the poorest farming communities in the world will be able to set up their own ‘Farmers’ Voice Radio Stations’ – using the free resources and help that we’ll be able to provide! As a small charity, we don’t believe in feathering our own nest. And we do believe that all our learning and the resources that we have created through our ground-breaking programme should get to those who need it the most. At no cost to them. ECA has always been a place of experimentation and collaboration, celebrated for enabling students from different disciplines to work alongside and with each other, and for creating strong linkages with other institutions. We trace our history back to the Trustees’ Academy founded in the 1760s which, over the course of the next century, operated from some of the most iconic buildings in the city, including the University’s Old College and what is now the Royal Scottish Academy. The first Professorship in an ECA subject area was created for Music in 1839 in the name of John Reid, with the Watson Gordon Chair of Fine Art founded some forty years later, the first of its kind in the British Isles and a turning point in the teaching of the History of Art. Following the establishment of the Reid Concert series in 1841, which continues to this day, the Reid Concert Hall was built in 1859. We’ve been known as Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) since 1906, following a major reorganisation of higher art education in Scotland. At the time, we were governed by the city Council and divided into four Schools: Drawing and Painting, Design and Crafts, Architecture, and Sculpture. We moved into what is still our Main Building in 1909, when the first of our annual Revel parties took place and, by 1913, our Cast Collection had been installed in the Sculpture Court.

Our Holiday Camps are a great opportunity for your child to recieve professional coaching from FA Qualified Coaches. Most notably, it's a fantastic chance to keep your child active, enjoying football and learning during the half term periods. We offer a 3 day courses with Outdoor and Indoor Facilities. The best thing is - it's ONLY £14 PER DAY! These will run from 9am-3pm. Payments will be accepted on the day(walk-ins) It is important for us to have bookings as early as possible so we can base our sessions/activites/games and days around it. What should you bring with you? Suitable clothing for football (including appropriate footwear) Warm and waterproof clothing in case of bad weather Football boots and shin pads Moulded football boots for hard ground Sun block and a sun hat Full packed lunch and lots to drink All coaches are CRB checked and hold FA coaching qualifications. Qualified first aiders will be present at all times throughout the course. Children will have regular breaks for water, snacks and lunch. The FPFA has full public liability insurance. Anti-Bullying Policy We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our members so they can participate in football in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at the FPFA. If bullying does occur, all FPFA members or parents should know that all incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.
