Nara was formed in 1995 by a group of professionals from the property, legal, and insolvency disciplines, concerned at what was perceived to be a lack of standards by some practitioners when undertaking fixed charge or Law of Property Act receivership appointments. Since that time Nara has introduced written standards, trained practitioners for relevant examinations, provided continuing professional development and worked with stakeholders, inc lenders, borrowers and government as the pre-eminent trade association for fixed charge receivers. The Association is multi-disciplinary and its membership is drawn from a broad range of professionals including accountants, surveyors and valuers, insolvency practitioners, and lawyers. Its Council is drawn from leading members of the combined professions across the country and their expertise has produced a structure for insolvency work of this type. The Association has a detailed Code of Practice, Professional Statements and Guidance Notes to which all of its members have agreed to adhere. Nara promotes training of members and provides a substantial number of training hours. Nara also publishes a regular e-newsletter and a twice yearly printed newsletter, which is widely circulated not only to members, but also within the banking fraternity from whom it receives the fullest support. Nara fully endorses the concept of regulation and played a pivotal role in developing the scheme for voluntary licensing of fixed charge receivers. This resulted in a voluntary scheme of registration culminating in a revised Memorandum of Understanding in July 2017 between Nara, RICS and IPA. Under this scheme practitioners are monitored and regulated. Nara represents members’ interests at the interface with Government, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (formerly the Department of Trade and Industry), the Insolvency Service, and other external agencies, and is now firmly established as the leading voice for fixed charge receivers.

Target sports for all, assault rifle shooting, axe throwing, archery, crossbow and airgun shooting for all that want to try their hand at it.We can provide assault rifle shooting. That’s real bullets using a semi-automatic rifle. The bullets fly as quick as you can pull the trigger from a 25-round magazine. Our shooting club is home office approved and follows the sports of Lightweight sport rifle and gallery rifle. In the future we intend to provide competitions for people to test their skills against others. For those that have already tried the Assault rifles, we now have new for 2022, a speed shooting activity. Our range is suitable for indoor air gun shooting. We also provide coaching for those that wish to compete on the air gun circuit, including opportunities for postal competitions. We offer training to international level in crossbow shooting through the National Smallbore rifle association and the world crossbow shooting association. Both postal and face to face competitions are available at up to 65 metres distance on away days. Axe throwing is a great sport for beginners to get into, and we have a resident club called the Essex backyard throwers who are always looking for members and again compete both nationally and internationally. For those wanting to get to that standard all it needs is a bit of practice and guidance and look out world. We have a range of Clubs which offer development and time to practise your skills, amongst new friends. In this environment we can provide coaching and training to help you along your way. Growing up, I always loved sport and physical exercise, I was up for any challenge, so when I had my first son I presumed I could get back to it right away. Unfortunately, at the time, despite all my physical activity, I had a lack of understanding about the way the body works and repairs itself. I tried to get back into all the activities I had done, and realised that I wasn’t able to do this without pain and discomfort. It just didn’t feel good. After the birth of my second son, I ended up needing a hernia operation. At that point my sister recommended Pilates - that is when everything changed for me. I understood why my body hurt. It was so simple: I wasn’t balanced. It was such a basic concept that I had never really been taught before in all my training. Very quickly, I was able to get back to the activities I loved with little or no pain! Inspired by this new knowledge, I started learning as much as I could. My passion grew the more I learned and I ended up training to become a Pilates Level 2 instructor on the Mat and the Reformer. I had to share what I had learnt with others. I enjoy working with everyone, from experienced practitioners to people trying Pilates for the first time. Recently I have worked with elite sports teams and, having been a high-level sportsperson myself in the past, I am realizing the true potential that there is to help people of all physical abilities make stronger connections with their bodies. The more we understand about our own bodies, the more we can work towards living the most active, healthy and pain free lives that we can.

Bishopton Equestrian centre is a family run yard on the Stockton, Darlington border in Bishopton village. We are a professional, family run livery yard and competition centre, housing 38 livery horses and running shows from Unaffiliated dressage, Showing, Clinics, Showjumping and more. The centre is owned and run by Katherine and Adam, who also run West House equestrian centre and West House Trailers 1 mile up the road. Katherine is a qualified BHSAI and competed for a number of years on 13.2hh – 14.2hh ponies in affiliated showjumping. Katherine competed horses at open level BSJA under training from top international showjumper Tim Stockdale. Katherine now travels up and down the country and to Ireland with her 16 year old daughter Emilie, who currently competes BS nationally on 148cm ponies And her 9 year old daughter Evie who jumps 138cm ponies. Katherine competed on BSJA ponies as a junior and since the age of 18, she is a qualified riding instructor (BHSAI) as well as selling horses/ponies and running her livery yard and trailer business. Katherine has turned her attention more towards teaching, training and her livery clients, rather than selling the ponies. Katherine and her staff run a super-efficient yard, concentrating on caring for showjumping ponies, livery horses, schooling ponies and many more. Katherine and Adam have a dedicated team of staff, which in order to keep their yard to the highest of standards. Adam also runs his own business… West House Contactors and is an experience machine driver who specialises in both agricultural and equestrian services.
