At EarthCraftuk we have over 12 years experience delivering a variety of nature based programmes including: Forest School Leader Training, Woodland Skills Continued Professional Development Workshops, school visits, youth accredited engagement programmes and experiential Forest School programmes; witnessing first-hand the transformational effects experiences in the natural world can have on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of all participants, and the fulfilling career paths it can often open up for adult participants. At a time when we on average spend 90% of our time indoors, our work at Earthcraftuk is driven by the evidenced impact of being in nature. Green spaces promote physical activity, social interaction, exposure to sunlight and reduced pollution, which all boost health in various ways, including reduced levels of stress and anxiety, aided sleep and a feeling of connectedness with the world, and one another. We have trained over 400 participants on Forest School qualification programmes; worked with a number of community groups; supported school and youth experiential and accredited programmes and also developed a Campfire Management Award for Kent County Council and now also working with Veterans on our Health & Wellbeing programme called Veteran Trees We are very grateful to use stunning private woodland owned by the Dawes family of Mount Ephraim Gardens – a philanthropic family who support our mission.

The partnership seeks to raise the aspirations of the individuals and to unlock the potential of their community, from the youngest to the very oldest , through providing holistic services and opportunities to create a better future. Through our Employability Department we offer support and advice to those who are entering the job market for the first time, for those that are considering transitioning to a new career, and for highly skilled practitioners interested in exploring new opportunities. We are an independent community art studio based in a self contained annex at the Branksome Centre, BH12 2EA, Dorset. We are a CIC ~ Not for Profit Organisation also known as a Social Enterprise. Company number 09926964 Artisan team is made up of 70 highly skilled, passionate artists with a wide range of abilities and are experienced in working with a variety of exciting media. We were initially funded with a 1 year “Start up Fund” by Arts Council England in 2013 and are now 8 years old and sustainable without funding although special projects are supported from time to time by LUSH and JP Morgan. We thank them for their generosity. We have a beautiful accessible studio with a rear garden, accessible loo and disabled parking. The Founding Director and Lead Artist is Pauline Stanley, BA (Hons) Fine Art, a graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, a socially engaged visual artist and an arts and health practitioner who has worked with many schools, festivals, museums, Pavilion Dance, Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival, Artsreach, visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth and also teaches on international cruises. She has a background in nursing in mental health/learning disability.
