I completed my first teacher training with The Frame Academy in 2017, whilst working full time in London. Since then I have been enjoying the process of continuously learning, growing and challenging myself with various trainings, amazing teachers and many different inspirations. I believe the healing, calming power of nature, and after 5 years in the big smoke I recently left to spend more time by the big sea. I love being in, on or by the sea, my Moroccan rescue dog Pumba, coffee, poetry, campfires and planning retreats, adventures (and adventurous retreats). After five years in London and a long lockdown in a little surf village on the Moroccan coast, I am now in the New Forest. I completed my first training 200 hour vinyasa teacher training with Emily-Clare Hill and Michael James Wong at the Frame Academy. I’ve since studied Yin & Ayurveda with The Yoga People, Assisting Techniques with Sunday School Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga with Ourmala. I am also a BSUPA paddleboard instructor and SUP yoga teacher, which I absolutely love! Yoga, on the water, under the sky – what’s not to like?! I love sharing the practice of yoga and any tools, techniques or little things that I have figured out along the way that can help others feel more connected to their bodies, to others and the world.

More than 139 years later Glasgow Battalion comprises 44 Companies operating in Glasgow and East Kilbride, the role of a Battalion is to promote the interests of the Brigade in its area by organising activities for members; by the provision of support, training and opportunities for fellowship for Leaders; and by seeking opportunities for development of the Brigade to fulfil its Object better.

Hi, my name’s Sarah! My pronouns are they/she and I’m currently based in Cheltenham (UK) where I live with my partner. I’ve been practicing yoga for just over 6 years and I immediately fell in love with the practice. Whether it was the physical benefits from my asana (posture) practice, or the mental benefits from pranayama (breath work) and meditation, yoga changed my life (I realise how incredibly cheesy and cliché that sounds, but it’s true!)I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 – the experience was incredible and it completely changed my personal practice and influenced the practices I want to share. My goal is to teach yoga which is accessible for everybody – regardless of ability, age, gender, or background. I want to create classes & workshops that are gender neutral, suitable for people who are neurodiverse, accessible for all physical abilities and free of diet culture. As well as my 200 hour training, I’ve also completed Accessible Yoga training and my 85 hour Pregnancy and Post-Natal Yoga Teacher Training. I want to improve people’s lives by sharing the benefits of yoga – whether that’s by allowing rest, reducing stress or through movement. I offer accessible yoga classes, including mat-based yoga, chair yoga, bed yoga, pregnancy yoga, and restorative yoga – to enable anyone to practice yoga. My style of teaching is centred around giving you choice and autonomy in your practice. I’ll guide you through a sequence but give you a variety of options so you can find what feels right for your body. A lot of people think that yoga is what you see on social media: flexibility, handstands on beaches and contorting yourself into pretzel shapes, but it’s not! It’s about finding stillness in your mind and connecting with your body and breath. In an age where everything feels like it’s go-go-go, I genuinely believe that everyone deserves to find some rest and stillness.
