Hagley Catholic High School is part of the Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company that was established in February 2021 with 9 other primary schools. We are a mixed 11-18 school in Hagley, Worcestershire and our Published Admissions Number (PAN) is 190 and with over 1130 students on our oversubscribed roll. We are situated in a semi-rural setting some twelve miles south west of Birmingham. The village of Hagley is within close proximity to the national motorway network and on a train line from Worcester to Birmingham, yet still enjoys views of the Clent Hills and beautiful surrounding countryside. As a Catholic School we believe that everyone is uniquely formed in the image of God and we are called to live, learn and serve in Jesus' name, by living out the Gospel values and following the compassion of Christ. Consequently, the Hagley family is a warm, caring, nurturing and generous one, in which all students, staff, parents, carers, and visitors feel part of. Our Patron saint is the Catholic martyr, Saint Nicholas Owen, and the school is divided into houses named after saints Anselm, Bede, Chad, Gregory, Kenelm and Wulstan. Hagley Catholic High School is a good school and the recent OFSTED inspection of October 2019 under the new inspection framework confirmed this. Inspectors commented very positively under a very robust and challenging new framework.

Who We Are & Where We Are High Peak School is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in 2014.Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together. They teach and proactively support pupils who have been subjected to adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, toxic stress and associated mental wellbeing difficulties, aiming to break the cycle of adversity. Children and young people may also come to us because they are challenged by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and dyspraxia or moderate and specific learning difficulties. We have a specific provision within the school called the Quiet Learning Zone where we support children and young people who have an autistic spectrum condition including Asperger’s syndrome and those who have communication and sensory difficulties. The environment and teaching approaches are bespoke and tailored to ensure our children and young people thrive and can develop their self-esteem. We have extensive experience of supporting those with attachment disorders or those who have been victims of abuse and neglect. We actively encourage the development of life skills such as staying safe, acting responsibly and being respectful whether that be at school, at home or in the local community. From our beautiful rural location in Cheshire, we offer a unique setting having been converted from a hotel to create innovative and inspiring learning, social, recreational and living spaces.

We are an OFSTED regulated Nursery and Primary School. We deliver the EYFS (Early Learning Foundation Stage) and the basic understanding of an Islamic curriculum to your child. Here at Darul Madinah we actively promote working together with the parents/carers of the children within our care. You are the most important people in your child's life and only by working together can we ensure that your children will achieve and develop to their full potential whilst having lots of fun and adventures during their time with us. Our provision is for 2 - 4 year olds and presently we can cater for up to a total of 68 children. We provide two different sessions where the parents can choose the most appropriate time for their child. The morning session runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm, while the afternoon session runs from 12:45pm to 3:45pm. In addition to the morning or afternoon sessions, we can also provide full day sessions for working parents. We can accomodate admissions throughout the year (Autumn, Spring & Summer). Children usually joining the term after their second or third birthday. All our staff are fully trained and experienced. Most of our children from early years usually progress to our Primary school. We recruit for our primary school throughout the year.

Baby Classes & Toddler Classes in Southport and Preston Moo Music is a multi-sensory music class for babies, toddlers and their carers. Classes are held in Ainsdale and Jollies Barn under two age groups: Baby Moo, for little ones from 6 weeks to pre-walking (littler ones are welcome). Mixed Moo, for little ones from birth to 4 years Each week is themed and uses a mixture of our 127 original Moo Music Songs to teach little ones about the world around them. 💜 All the activities relate to the theme and children will learn without even realising. Maybe even grown ups too. 🎵 Each session is carefully planned to include activities that will help children to reach their developmental milestones. But we don’t tell them that! 💜 We sing, we sign, we dance, we dress up, we pretend, we play instruments, we make mess, we craft and sometimes we even give you things to take home to do. 🎵 We encourage you to share what you have learned with everyone around you. Here in the Purbeck Workshop, we are a registered charity (no. 1161110) based in Wool, Dorset and we are dedicated to providing creative escapes to anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Our relaxing and supportive workshop provides FREE activities and events throughout the year, where you can meet other people, carers and family members, who have all been affected by cancer. For us, it's not about you mastering new craft skills. It's about you taking some valuable time out, having fun and engaging with your creative self. We'll aim to take your mind off the worries and fears that cancer can bring, just for a couple of hours. If you have had a recent or previous diagnosis, if you have been bereaved through cancer or you are a family member or carer in need of a creative escape, you are all very welcome to attend our workshop. We are based a short walk from Wool Station, with off-street parking and disability accessible facilities including a lift for a wheelchair.

The Mayor, Councillor Rob Appleyard The Charter Trustees of the City of Bath formally elected Councillor Rob Appleyard to serve the Office of Mayor at their Annual Meeting & Election of Mayor Ceremony on Saturday 28 May 2022. Rob moved into Bath 9 years ago from Westfield, where he had represented the community on the Parish Council from 2007 for 4 years. He was elected to Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 to represent the Lambridge Ward community. The many roles Rob has served as a Councillor include Chair of Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2012/13 and Deputy Mayor of the City of Bath in 2017/18. He has always looked to put people first and has served on the boards of Citizen Advice, B&NES Carers Centre, and social landlord Curo Group (9 yrs), and is focused on addressing inequalities in our communities. Rob holds several Trustee positions, which include the B&NES Dementia Action Alliance Charity. The theme Rob has chosen for his term in Office looks to recognise the range of groups and organisations that underpin the support and opportunities that exists within our City, with a special focus on children and their voice. He looks forward to having contact with everyone through his “Roots and Canopy of Our City” theme this year. Rob is pleased to have the support of the Mayoress, his wife Amanda, and they look forward to the year ahead.
