First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. The qualification is aimed at learners already working or preparing to work in industry that is identified within the company's risk assessment of First Aid. The qualification has a recommended course duration of 2 days; however the course duration may be increased to meet additional learning needs if required but not reduced.

This Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) Level 3 Award qualification meets the requirement of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, where a person is required to become a qualified ‘First Aider’ (EFAW) in their workplace.
