At the age of three I put on my first dance shoes and no one has been able to get me out of them since! From festivals, competitions, shows, pantomimes, and exams I couldn't get enough. I knew from a young age I wanted to share my passion with the world and therefore was determined to educate myself on how to teach performing arts. There has been much research on the positive effects of music for our health and happiness BBC News reported on research from a University in Montreal Canada (Nature Neuroscience study) 'An experiment by a primary school in England has revealed that music can also help in improving academic performance among pupils. New Delhi: It is no secret that music has therapeutic effect and can help students in combatting stress. Studies have also revealed that music helps in improving concentration.' After successfully completing a PGDE Teaching Qualification in Dance at Liverpool John Moores University as well as a Degree in Dance, Drama and Performing Arts at Edgehill University. I decided to open my own Dance Academy focusing on inclusivity, learning new skills, a love of music and fitness. I pride myself on having an inclusive academy where EVERYONE MATTERS! I continue my professional development in working with children and young people as I am passionate about each of my pupils reaching their individual potential.

Leona Creator of Artists Resource & Lead Facilitator Leona created Artists Resource in 2011 with the Mission “To bring people together, to nurture Creativity and facilitate Transformation – for the benefit of the individual and the community.” She started with one small Art club in North London and in just a couple of years had grown to teaching in Schools every day and hosting Art Parties and Classes at the weekend. In 2018-19, Leona has provided Art workshops for the England football team and BAFTA. Leona has a strong background in material processes and techniques, having a degree in Applied Arts and applying that throughout her career. Prior to setting up Artists Resource, Leona worked for a Art & Craft company, managing concession stands in Harrods, Hamleys and UK Trade Fairs and made Mosaic Murals for School Playgrounds with a local Artist. She also worked on the Art Dept for various independent short and feature films. Leona has specialised in Sculpture and Mosaic Art has her own Public Artworks in Mile End (E3), Muswell Hill (N10) and in various public and private sites in London. My name is Louise – I’m an Expressive Writing practitioner based in York. My passion is for writing with people from all walks of life, helping them to express their unique experiences and perspectives. I’m a graduate of the University of Edinburgh (English Literature MA Hons, Literature and Modernity MSc), and the Metanoia Institute (Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes PGDip). I’m a member of Lapidus, the international words for wellbeing association, and recently delivered a well-received presentation at their Creative Bridges Conference with the Metanoia Institute. I have previously spoken to various audiences about my work as an Expressive Writing Practitioner, including Medicine Unboxed: Students, and the Glagow Refugee, Asylum and Migration Network. I’ve recently completed a year-long residency at Edinburgh Headway Group, facilitating a weekly writing group for people with acquired brain injuries. This has culminated in a publication of the member’s poetry, which we hope will be officially launched in the near future! I have also delivered writing sessions for MOOD (Mental health Options for Older adults with Depression) in West Lothian, before relocating to York. When I’m not facilitating writing groups, I can also be found teaching Pilates classes around the city! Though this might seem an odd combination, I find that both provide fantastic tools for mindfulness, self-care and well being.

Our Cook Stars team is passionate about cooking and we simply LOVE good food! We share our love of cooking through teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch. We offer classes for pre-school children, primary school age children, tweens and teens delivered through our team of franchisees. We also host special event workshops, birthday parties and classes within schools and the community. At Cook Stars we take care of all the preparation to make it easy for our Cook Stars to simply come along and enjoy our sessions. All ingredients, cooking equipment, an apron, packaging and cooking know-how is provided! Everyone takes home their lovely dish along with a recipe card to cook again at home. We even see to the clearing away and washing up! Here at Cook Stars we want our classes to be accessible to everyone, so our classes are affordable and offer fantastic value. As well as providing everything you'll need to cook we also treat children to a craft activity and a snack to keep them entertained during cooking time. At our sessions, there's lots of opportunity to experiment with different preparation methods....weighing, measuring, shape cutting, decorating, rolling and much more! We learn about different ingredients, try new foods and develop useful life skills.

Hi! My name is Roy Noel. I am a fully qualified Driving Instructor and I have been teaching since 2008. The vehicle I use for lessons will be a dual controlled manual Renault Captur (Diesel). From absolute beginners to experienced drivers, using coaching, practice and diagrams, I will give each pupil an understanding of what the car is doing and where they need to position the car on the road. Lessons will be tailored to match the ability of the pupil and to encourage them to progress further. Beginners Cockpit Drill, Controls, Starting/Stopping and Gear Changes Intermediates Meeting, Junctions/Roundabouts, Manoeuvres and Dual Carriageway Advanced Town driving, Independent Driving, Mock Tests & Driving Tests Extras Pass Plus, Motorway Driving, Eco-Safe, Refresher Lessons My area coverage is Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Ware, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted Abbotts, Hallingbury, Sheering, Hatfield Heath, and Much Hadham. These areas are within easy reach of the Bishop’s Stortford test centre. Lessons Starting from a minimum of 1 hour, 1 and half, 2 hours etc. Intensive courses are available. Payments can be made in cash or cheque only. 24 Hour Cancellation Fee Please note that there may be a charge for those pupils that do not turn up to there pre-arranged lessons, or for those pupils that fail to contact the instructor and cancel (24 hours) before their lesson is due to start.

I completed my UK pilates training and certification with Body Control Pilates (BCP) in 2000, BCP is one of the leading education providers for Pilates teacher training and the most significant professional Pilates organisation outside the USA. I established Pilates in Dulwich in the same year. Committed to my ongoing development, I also undertook advanced studies at Kane School of Core Integration in New York under the tutelage and mentorship of Kelly Kane, one of the most highly regarded and experienced Pilates educators and therapists in the USA. In 2009 I qualified as an osteopath, and completed extensive postgraduate studies including cranial and classical osteopathy, women’s health and training in paediatrics at the world famous Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy in London (aka Osteopathic Centre for Children – OCC). My extended pilates clinical work is influenced by all of these factors some of which have organically integrated into my current evolving non-purist practice, which is underpinned by comprehensive training and certification, and lifelong professional development. I have worked in several highly regarded London clinics to enhance my practice and established my own osteopathic practice to compliment my existing Pilates work.
